Our last meeting was March 10. A nominating committee was formed and nominees for the board selected. Will forward names when minutes are distributed.
At the meeting, Bruce Geiger, the lobbyist, gave a report on status of various legislation and legislators, Link to it here.
Later on he followed up with a report on bills that were moving in the Senate and are expected to be voted on soon. Link to report here.

Critical legislation (webmaster’s view) is that which is threatening to hobby breeders, responsible dog owners, or member clubs and have like bills in both chambers. Upcoming Actions: The board plans to write certain influential New York kennel clubs asking them to join or support us in our defense of the fancy. Additionally it plans to ask member clubs to seek sponsors and new associate members. Also, we would request clubs to hold 50\50 raffles or similar fund raisers at their member club shows.
